The research activities of the Ph.D. Faculty cover several fields of Economics and Finance. The Ph.D. also combines the teaching skills of two well-established universities: Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca. The Ph.D. is run by a Managing Committee under the supervision of an International Scientific Committee.

The Ph.D. in Economics and Finance aims to:

• offer students a thorough understanding of modern economics;
• equip students with the skills required to undertake successful academic research and/or a career in the private sector, in international organizations, and in governmental bodies.

Economics and quantitative methods are at the core of the Ph.D. program. Our students are in daily contact with prestigious academics and are exposed to a culture of openness and diversity.
