Financial Support
First-year students at the Ph.D. in Economics and Finance can enroll directly to a 4-year doctoral program (with scholarship) or to a 1-year master program (without scholarship). After completing the Master program, successful students have the opportunity to compete for a Ph.D. position endowed with a scholarship.
Ph.D. Scholarships
The Ph.D. in Economics and Finance offers four scholarships (for a period of four years) paying a grant of € 16.243 (gross income) per year. The monthly allowance can be increased up to 50% for our Ph.D. students visiting academic or scientific institutions abroad.
Research funds are available from the second year.
Before getting to Milan, all candidates must ensure that they possess the necessary financial means to finance their stay in Milan for 2 months. The administrative offices will also provide the necessary information about how to get the VISA and Italian permit of stay.
