Topics in symplectic and multisymplectic geometry
May 10 2017
The Ph.D. course Topics in symplectic and multisymplectic geometry (48 h), held by Prof. M. Spera from January to April 2017, has been regularly attended by Ph.D. students A.M. Miti (UCSC) and A. Galasso (Milano-Bicocca).
On May 10th, as assessment, both of them gave talks, followed by extensive discussions, devoted to the following topics related to the course:
- A.M. Miti: Covariant Phase Space via MultiSymplectic Geometry
- A. Galasso: An introduction to Geometric Quantization
Drafts of their talks are available on Prof. Spera's official web page, together with detailed handwritten lecture notes fully covering the course contents.
