Abstract:
The scientific research aims to look for new technologies and results. Anyway, any developed idea or work is useless if it is not presented to a wide public. In this perspective, the way of presenting the obtained results is of paramount importance to finalize the work done: cool and professional pictures can draw the public attention, helping the comprehension of the obtained results. Therefore the graphical manipulation of figures and pictures has a very high importance, and a user-friendly graphical software could magnify the quality of the proposed images, with relatively small effort.
Among the several graphical softwares, Adobe Illustrator is in evidence because of its simplicity for the graphical manipulation of vectorial graphs and pictures, allowing to use of graphical features and layouts not available on the most of post-processing and data analysis tools.
The aim of this seminar is to give an introduction about the most important Adobe Illustrator features, giving examples of actual applications. After a short description of the drawing environment, a practical session will bring the public into Adobe Illustrator world, by solving simple introductory exercises.
