DEFAP School offers access to a wide range of professions. Graduates will be able to pursue an academic career. The skills acquired by a DEFAP graduate will render her/him a natural candidate for posts with important international organisations (European Commission, European Parliament, ECB, ILO, WTO, World Bank, IMF) as well as in the upper echelons of national government, the authorities and public watchdogs of regulated industries.

We are very proud to announce that our student Yuan Li has received the 2012 Best Ph.D. Dissertation Award by the International Society for New Institutional Economics (ISNIE), in the award ceremony at June conference in Los Angeles (USA).

Li's dissertation is titled "Accountability in One-Party Government: Rethinking the Success of Chinese Economic Reform" and was successfully defended early in 2012 at DEFAP.

Our student Andreza Pontes Lucas is now teaching in two different University in Brazil: Caruaru -PE- Brazil.
